Today we are starting the English version of our site awards-su.com. Our site is dedicated to promoting the knowledge and exchange of information regarding Soviet Orders and Medals, as well as the service badges being issued to the Soviet Military and KGB members. We use new classification of the Soviet Orders and Medals, which is based primarily on the technological changes in their manufacturing. We will provide more details on that later in a separate article.

We are opening the English version of our site with pages describing the “Excellent Air Force Soldier” badge, medal “for the development of the Petrochemical Complex of the Western Siberia” and the “Order of Honor”. We do not consider the “Order of Honor” as a variation for the Order “Badge of Honor” because it had its own Statute and Description.
